History

The mission of Christopher Farms Elementary School, in partnership with the community, is to engage students in rigorous instruction, challenge students to become critical thinkers, and motivate students to become responsible learners and citizens.

Christopher Farms Elementary School first opened its doors to students in the fall of 1997. The school building, which was newly constructed in 1997 on the site of a former horse farm, is located within the Christopher Farms housing development and draws students from most neighborhoods along Holland Road, between Shipp's Corner Road and Princess Anne Middle School.
